An eco-friendly initiative to clean up the banks of the River Lez

An environmental awareness campaign called “Lez Cleanup” was organised in Montpellier on the initiative of Project Rescue Ocean, with the support of SG Courtois and the assistance of Synerg-In Agency. The event was held on the banks of the Lez River, with a meeting point at the Marché du Lez.

The aim of this eco-friendly initiative was to mobilise volunteers and participants to collect rubbish from the banks of the River Lez, thereby helping to protect the environment and raise public awareness of the issues surrounding pollution in natural habitats.

Beyond the concrete environmental impact, this initiative has also helped to unite teams and partners around a meaningful collective action. It is part of a corporate social responsibility approach, enabling committed companies to mobilise their employees and support concrete environmental projects.

Since its creation, Project Rescue Ocean has carried out numerous awareness-raising and waste collection initiatives in France and internationally. The organisation has now collected several hundred tonnes of waste and is also developing educational programmes for young people to raise awareness of the challenges of protecting the oceans and ecosystems.

By supporting this type of event, Synerg-In Agency participates in the implementation of committed initiatives that promote citizen engagement, environmental awareness and the creation of collective actions with a positive impact.
