Promotion of Rennes as a destination at the Marché du Lez in Montpellier

As part of a regional promotion campaign, Synerg-In Agency helped organise an event dedicated to promoting Rennes as a destination at the Marché du Lez in Montpellier. The aim was to introduce the Montpellier public to the tourist, cultural and gastronomic attractions of the Breton capital, as well as its accessibility, particularly thanks to the air link operated by Transavia.

For two days, a village open to the general public was set up, offering various stands and activities allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Rennes and Brittany. Visitors were able to discover culinary specialities and artisanal creations in a pop-up shop (biscuits, caramels, drinks, Breton bowls, etc.), as well as workshops and tastings of crêpes and galettes. Musical entertainment, traditional Breton games, creative workshops and competitions also punctuated the event, while a dedicated area showcased the attractions of Rennes as a destination, its heritage, gastronomy and summer cultural offerings.

The event also included opportunities for networking and socialising. An after-work presentation brought together tourism professionals, institutions and partners to discover the destination. The following evening, a food market at the Marché du Lez showcased Rennes’ gastronomy, with several chefs offering Breton cuisine revisited as street food in a festive atmosphere.

This type of event enables regions to promote their identity, expertise and tourist attractions by directly reaching out to new audiences through immersive and accessible formats.
